Evaluation Question 7
Question Seven :What do you feel you have learnt from the progression of your preliminary task
I feel as though our finished thriller is a big improvement from our preliminary task "Safe Place"
We have learnt skills like match on action and eye line matches as you can see in our finished thriller when the Actors look at the CD. We have learnt the key conventions of the thriller genre and learnt how to use these effectively with out film and also how to use effectively conventions of other genres.
This is a screen grab of a scene that shows the suspence in this sequence, the scene shows the kidnappers hiding behind a bush as the protagonists hear a noise behind them, this scene is suspencful because the audience does not know whether the protagonists have seen the person that following or not.

This scene is a thriller convention where the protagonists fall out inn an argument or disagreement and then something bad will happen to one or both and they and one will save the other.
Evaluation Question 6
Question Six :What have you learnt about technologies from the process?
The technologies we have used are:
Digital Camera
Computer
Adobe premiere Pro
YouTube
We used a digital camera to record our film because it has High definition quality and is easy to carry and move around it also has a decent microphone built in, also digital files are easier to edit and transfer over to computer. We used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit our film because it was the software that was on the computer we were using to edit, the only other editing software we were familiar with was Final-Cut on Apple Macs and adobe Premiere Pro was really simple and easy to use and was not a huge transition to Final-Cut. YouTube was our choice of uploading the film because it can be openly viewed and has a comment pox to we can take the feedback and see who our audience are.
This is the is the website we used to upload our thriller.

Evaluation Question 4
https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-6GB5LS9/
The evidence that i got shows that young people enjoy the thriller genre more so than the older generation. i found that this is because younger people enjoy violence more than the older generation.
The older generation on average like the more softer genres of film for example a Romantic Comedy that necessarily wont have graphic violence. We found that we will appeal our media product to the younger audience from 15 - 30 years of age, we have chosen this as our target audience because these are the people that enjoy violence and thriller films and films that hold conventions of the thriller genre.
Evaluation Question 3

If the Prezi does not work please use this link instead.
Film 4 is a company that could possibly distribute our thriller because they like to distribute small budget films and put films out there straight onto TV to if the film can not make it in to the theatrical release.
The national lottery run the "Microwave Scheme" which give a small budget amount of £100,000 to a small film company and the company then have a minimal time to make the film and release it. so i think this would be a good choice for a distributer and would very likely invest money to distribute our thriller.

YouTube is a fantansic free way to distribute your thriller because you do not need to pay money to use you-tubes facilities only an internet connection, you can upload small teaser trailers and interviews, and YouTube is link with various social media websites such as "twitter" and "face-book" which you can share the videos out to the public.
Evaluation Question 2
Question Two:How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Our opening thriller sequence is starred by males only. Our thriller portrays males as being dominant because the male villains of the sequence kidnaps and captures the heroes which shows their dominance. The two heroes being males lose apart of their dominance by being kidnapped and captured. The point about the villains kidnapping and being the dominant group because they are male restores hegemony because that's how men are portrayed in society, the second point about the men being captured is challenging hegemony because the men are normally not the ones being captured because we see men as being too dominant to be captured historically the women are captured for example fairy tales, the princess is always captured and locked away in a tower. The fact that villains are wearing masks challenges hegemony because men would have no reason to hide themselves because they are seen has high up and dominant where as women would be the ones to hide because they are always looked down by the men in most situations which hegemony is kept.
This is a scene in our thriller which the protagonists have a disagreement and thus one retaliates and pushes the other, this shows male dominance and that males always wish to be the alpha male over another male.
This is a scene in our thriller which the protagonists gets captured by the antagonist, this again shows the that the antagonists want to be the alpha males over the protagonists and capture him to show their dominance, this thriller emphasizes the point in which men are like animals and always strive to be on top.
This is a shot from the same scene as before, the fact that the antagonists being males and wearing masks challenges hegemony because they are hiding themselves almost like they are ashamed of what they are doing and they know they are doing wrong.
