Question Seven :What do you feel you have learnt from the progression of your preliminary task

I feel as though our finished thriller is a big improvement from our preliminary task "Safe Place"

We have learnt skills like match on action and eye line matches as you can see in our finished thriller when the Actors look at the CD. We have learnt the key conventions of the thriller genre and learnt how to use these effectively with out film and also how to use effectively conventions of other genres.

This is a screen grab of a scene that shows the suspence in this sequence, the scene shows the kidnappers hiding behind a bush as the protagonists hear a noise behind them, this scene is suspencful because the audience does not know whether the protagonists have seen the person that following or not.

 

This scene is a thriller convention where the protagonists fall out inn an argument or disagreement and then something bad will happen to one or both and they and one will save the other.
